Goat Cheese Balls

I was so excited to recreate this recipe because it involved two of my favorite things, Vanderpump Rules and appetizers. I have been a day one fan of VPR and lately all things “Scandoval”, so naturally to celebrate the last reunion airing, I wanted the perfect setup of apps and wine! Goat Cheese Balls are a staple at SUR restaurant [if you know you know], so this was an easy pick! I looked up tons of different videos on Tik Tok to learn how to make these and added a little bit of my own twist. These are perfect for any party or get together! Here is what you need!

Steps:

  1. Cut each log of goat cheese into 1 inch pieces [depending on how big or small you want each to be].Roll each piece into a ball and place on a plate in the refrigerator for about an hour.

  2. Grab 3 bowl. In one bowl, add the flour. In another bowl, add the egg and water and whisk together. And in the last bow, add the panko, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.

  3. Roll each goat cheese ball through the flour, then egg, and then the panko mixture. Roll them back through the egg and the panko mixture for extra crispiness!

  4. Spray your Air Fryer tray with olive oil and add the goat cheese balls. Spray the top of each goat cheese ball with olive oil as well.

  5. Air Fry at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes [or until golden brown]. Halfway through the time, you can rotate the goat cheese balls.

  6. Top with parsley and honey [I used the Trader Joe’s Spicy Honey Sauce and it was SO GOOD!]

I served these with a Charcuterie Board and some other little snacks, and of course some Pinot Noir! These also pair great over fresh veggies or a salad. Enjoy!
